EASY & TASTY Isla-Glazed Salmon

Our boozy, tropical, fruity Fila Manila Isla Sauce is the perfect complement to fresh salmon and other seafood! Since the Philippines is surrounded by the sea, I grew up eating lots of fish! Our recipe makes 2 servings but can easily be scaled up for the whole family. This is an easy hands-off lunch or dinner for the family (that also pairs with our Pineapple Isla Rice), or can also be a stunning centerpiece for dinner parties. For even tastier results, try broiling the salmon for 2 minutes at the end to add nice char and caramelization. We love to add some extra sliced pineapple or pineapple salsa on top, along with lime wedges for that perfect tropical balance.


  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup of Fila Manila Isla Sauce
  • 1 spoon of olive oil
  • 1 lime
  • 1 spoon of honey
  • Garlic powder, salt, pepper to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and marinate salmon for 15-30 minutes
  2. Set salmon on baking sheet skin side down.
  3. Bake for 25 min at 350 F or until it has reached desired doneness.
  4. Serve with extra pineapple on top, and lots of rice on the side!
