Moist Ube Banana Bread
I just love baking with Ube! It adds some much visual vibrancy and sweet coco-nutty flavor to whatever you're baking. This Ube Banana Bread is an ode to comforting familiar Filipino flavors. It may be the perfect snack to savor with a cup of tea or glass of milk, as you take in the moment and cherish the authentic flavors your taste buds are experiencing. Fila Manila’s Ube spread doesn’t contain any fake flavors or artificial dyes, so you can also feel good about your treat too. I almost forgot to mention the best part of this banana bread! Ingredients:
- 3 Ripe Bananas
- 1 Cup of Fila Manila Ube spread
- 1 ½ cups of flour
- ½ cup of melted unsalted butter
- ¼ cup of granulated sugar
- ½ cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Bake Time: 40-50 minutes
Directions:
- Begin preheating the oven to 355ºF
- Peel and mash your ripe bananas into a bowl
- Add your melted butter, sugar and 2 eggs
- Mix well!
- Add Fila Manila Ube and mix well
- Add milk, flour, and baking powder
- Mix well!
- Grease a baking tin or line with parchment paper and spoon mixture into the tin
- Put in the oven and bake at 355ºF for 40 mins
- Remove banana bread after 40-50 mins or until desired level of brown!
- Let cool for 15 mins (if you can wait!)
- Slice and enjoy!
