Oven Baked Barbecue and Banana Ketchup Chicken
Looking for a simple recipe to use your Banana Ketchup? These barbecue chicken breasts are the way to go! Everyone loves this sweet, tangy and deeply flavorful chicken. It makes for a great main dish to serve with vegetables and rice. The Banana Ketchup does a lot for the chicken, adding a tropical fruity sweetness, but with a perfect amount of tang, that normal ketchup cannot match. A familiar entree with a southeastern asian twist, what is not to love!?

Ingredients:
- 6 bone-in chicken breast halves (8 ounces each)
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup Fila Manila Banana Ketchup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°. In a nonstick skillet coated lightly with oil, brown chicken over medium heat. Transfer to a baking dish coated with cooking spray.
- Re-coat skillet with oil. Add onion; cook and stir over medium heat until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Pour over chicken.
- Bake, uncovered, until a thermometer inserted in chicken reads 170°, 35-45 minutes.
